GES bounty

Hi there,

Some of you may be aware of the pressing need to stabilize GES in order
to make it possible for GSoC students and other contributors to actually
use the development version of Pitivi, and more generally in order to
get Pitivi out of dev hell.

I've been discussing with Linux Fund and we could get a grant for bounty
work on GES.

I am therefore looking for a GStreamer ninja interested in accomplishing
this much-needed mercenary work on GES. You would be compensated for
your time: it could be wages (name your price) or a luxury technological
gadget that you always wanted to buy but couldn't quite justify.

I can provide you with a more detailed sitrep if you need one, but for
the time being this is the minimum set of issues I want to see fixed in
exchange for gold or loot:
1- https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=673038 < biggest problem?
2- https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=674151
3- https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=669827
4- https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=669826
5- https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=673699
(less critical, but might be a symptom of an uglier bug)

There are other bugs, but those are the most urgent. They not only
prevent Pitivi GES from being released, they block further testing
efforts and might even hide other bugs.

Anyone interested?
If so,
- When would it be possible, and for how long?
- What budget/timeframe would you expect to allow you to work on this?

This is an open contest, my only criterion would be that you have proven
experience with contributing to GStreamer.

Please keep me in c.c. when replying as I'm not usually subscribed to
this mailing list.

Best regards
Jean-François
