Hi,

my name is Yann Pravossoudovitch, I'm 23 and I'm a french student at the graduate school of engineering in IT and management: "Ecole Polytechnique Universitaire de Montpellier". I don't have a blog yet but you can contact me by mail or on irc on #pitivi or #gstreamer with the nickname yannp.
I'm going to work on PiTiVi. My proposal is to add an essential feature to this video editor : possibility for users to add text to make titles, subtitles, etc. To do this, I will work directly on PiTiVi to make a clean UI and on GES which provides the basic blocks for this feature.
I'm really interested on this project because I like to take photos and make videos to edit them so working on this video editor is a great opportunity for me and I thank you for that.
I will work on github but I haven't create the repository yet.

My school needs a convention to make the link between the organization and the school (someone as to sign it). I don't know if I have to ask this to PiTiVi, Gstreamer or Google. Do you know who can I contact to help me?
