Problem with alsasrc lame and mad

Hi,
 
with the pipeline
 
gst-launch-0.10 alsasrc device=hw:0,0 ! lame ! mad ! alsasink
 
the audio quality is very bad.
 
With 
 
gst-launch-0.10 alsasrc device=hw:0,0 ! alsasink 

the quality is good.
 
 
Has anyone a explanation?
