how to set a src caps dynamically at a transofrm element

Hi,

I want to set caps dynamically at the src of a transform element derived from  base transform element. It seems a static caps must be set at the base init function.I tried to replace the caps with gst_caps_replace() in fixate_caps function, but it is not successful. Where is it the best place to do it?
