gst-rtsp-server vs dss for on-demand video streaming over RTSP ...

Hi,

I are looking to stream video on-demand (and not in a broadcast mode) over
RTSP. I am trying to evaluate between gst-rtsp-server and dss (Darwin). I'm
sure both have their pros and cons - anyone have any thoughts on what they
are? I am new to the RTSP protocol and would definitely appreciate any
feedback/thoughts on the topic?
