gstreamer-vaapi does not work with rtsp

Hi,

trying to stream from an rtsp source I ran into the issue that it does
not seem to work with gstreamer-vaapi using a simple playbin pipeline:

gst-launch-0.10 playbin2 uri=rtsp://... 

running the same pipeline with a full-hd mp4 movie works fine (with a
CPU load of as little as 4%). In the rtsp case there are no errors which
would indicate an issue, however, there is nothing visible on the
screen. The entire gstreamer stack is the latest git master from the
0.10 branch.
Removing all vaapi acceleration does fix the issue, but this is
certainly not what I want.

Any idea where this may come from?
