Increasing UDPSRC performance using GstBufferPool

All,

I need to increase the performance of udpsrc to get better throughput.  Looking at the post below, the suggestion is that this can be accomplished with the use of buffer-pool.

I am currently using gstreamer-0.10 for Windows and cannot find GstBufferPool in my installation.  Is this something that has been introduced in a more recent version of Gstreamer?  If so, would I have upgrade to the latest version of GStreamer, or is it possible to just add in GstBufferPool?
