Get buffer from parent

Hi all!

   I have a program and use the gstomxbasesrc  as the parent class. I had
transfer the buffer pointer from the show sink to gstomxbasesrc by the
event.I get  the buffer pointer in the handle_event() of  gstomxbasesrc,but
the subclass can not get this pointer from the gstomxbasesrc  and the
program crash . so  what should i do?
