gi.RepositoryError: Requiring namespace 'Gst' version '0.10', but '1.0' is already loaded

Try:
GI_TYPELIB_PATH=/usr/share/gir-1.0 LD_LIBRARY_PATH=<your gstreamer-1.0 lib
dir>./video-player-1.0

If this helps you may need to re-evaluate your setup.
