Ah, I see. Well, given that it's already confirmed, I assume there's
nothing I can do to assist? Apart from of course fixing it, which is
quite beyond my skills.

Essentially just looking for a piece of windows platform encoding
software that can take most video types as input and spit out a webm
file. The Miro Video Converter seems to do this fine, but is somewhat
lacking in the settings department. I was a big fan of handbreak until I
found out they most likely would never support the webm format.
