Integrating Gstreamer with a signaling stack

Hello to all members,

for the past couple of month i have been trying to program a pipe line
using Gstreamer SDK which would be capable of sending and receiving
bi-directional speech between two Linux computers and i have finally
succeeded . I do it using RTP packetization and UDP ports and WLAN as the
physical layer.

Now i want to implement a signaling application in which one Linux computer
could notify the other one of an incoming call according to SIP protocol (
supposing that all characteristics of the destination computer are known
for the sender ) or any other signaling protocol ,and then
my-already-designed Gstreamer Pipeline would be executed and take care of
speech transmission.
Is it possible to implement such a functionality for Gstreamer? other
guidances are very welcomed.
