Reg:Video Streaming using GStreamer

Hi All

I am trying to develop an application that can stream camera video to
atleast 500 clients.  I am able to capture the camera in my
application..All my client may or may not be behind firewall. As I am very
new to GStreamer as well as video streaming technology I just want to know
how GStreamer can help me to accomplish my task.
