Error while installing bison and flex tool required for GStreamer-1.2.1 package

Hi,

I am using GStreamer-1.2.1 package, It requires bison and flex tool to be
installed,

But when I give the below command 
sudo apt-get install bison, I get the below error

Reading package lists... Done
Building dependency tree       
Reading state information... Done
Package bison is not available, but is referred to by another package.
This may mean that the package is missing, has been obsoleted, or
is only available from another source

E: Package 'bison' has no installation candidate
