Hardware accelerated video scaling

Hello everybody,
I have a simple question. Does hardware accelerated video scaling exist
anywhere: GStreamer or OpenMAX? Or do I need to copy frames from GPU to RAM,
perform scaling, and then copy backwards to display scaled frame?
