Current status of GStreamer on Raspberry Pi

Did you saw anything like gstreamer openmax module that will generate EGL
images as output.
I think this should be possible with gstreamer 1.0 
As gstreamer 1.0 elements can generate different data on src and manages
allocation/deallocation/transfer ownership

This kind of pipeline would be nice for many use cases (Qt QML for example)
