That works perfectly and my application is now transferring live data
from wasapi audio output straight back into the gstreamer pipe so at
long last... I can record what I hear rather than having to hold the
microphone to the speakers. :o)

I'm still having a few problems creating an audio format that windows
media player will accept also \ in my location string from
GtkFileChooser is being removed, but gstreamer it's still IMO a lot
more flexible and intelligible than Microsoft Media Foundation API.
