MediaPlayer Application failed - g_value_set_object failed.

Thanks Tim. I will try those options as well. Just one more clarification -
In my mediaplayer test application these are the snippets

my_notify_func (GObject* obj)
{
    GObject *pgminfo = NULL;
    g_object_get(obj, "my-property", &pgminfo, NULL);
}

By using a boxed type, is it possible for my mediaplayer test application to
get the pgminfo as a GObject ?
