element properties - default value

Is it possible to setup up element's properties default values?
For example with system variables
Same way how we use GST_DEBUG

It is really impossible to set up element's properties(default values) that
was created with group elements like playbin, .....

It will be really nice to add this future for some elements(multiqueue,..)
I don't know how gtk implement this call and how big slowdown it can be.
