So gst-plugins-base built successfully, but the tests didn't pass?

I'd recommend grabbing GStreamer from git also, since I don't know how
the tests will interact when you're using gst-plugins-base 1.1.0.1
against an older version of GStreamer.

If you still have problems, it would be nice to see which tests are
failing and why. You cut them out in your email though.
