Problems building from git.

I'm having a little trouble building GStreamer 1.0 base plugins from git.
It seemed to make ok, but when I came to use it I noticed I was missing a
load of elements. Running a make check, I'm getting a load of GObject
related errors. I've attached a log of the output, as well as my config log.

This is the first time I've tried building GStreamer from source, so maybe
I screwed something up. I'm using distribution packages for everything but
GStreamer (and Orc).
