Dependency problem on upgrade on linux mint

I use redhat based linux, so I use yum. But apt-get has the same capability.
I would enter: sudo yum downgrade
libgstreamer-plugins-bad-0.10.23.7ubuntu1.1 which should downgrade to that
version.
Use man apt-get to find the syntax.
The same is probably required for mysql.
