gstreamer 1.x on centos 6.4

agreed. Was not able to find gstreamer RPMs  of version greater than 0.10.29
anywhere. Building version > 0.10.29 on rhel gives Glib version error...and
I have been advised not to upgrade GLib on rhel as it will blow out OS.
