RTMP streaming server

Hi,

I'm not quite able to figure out what is the best way to stream over
internet without packet losses. Tried a unicast udp but it seems to have
quite a lot of packet loss. The advantage I see with rtmp is the flvmux
overhead being very low when compared to mpegtsmux overhead

If vlc doesn't work, is there a way where I can connect rtmpsink from
gstreamer server to the rtmpsrc of gstreamer client? Can this be a
workaround?

Any clue is welcome :)
