x264enc on the Logitech C920's viewfinder

I store the camera-x264-encoded stream from vidsrc in a file. The C920
also offers a viewfinder (vfsrc), but only as raw or jpeg. And I want to
stream that viewfinder.
So I basically want to store in 1080p and only stream 320x240 without
too much encoding on the server.
