Switch rtspsrc and filesrc with input-selector

Hey guys,

I’m new on Gstreamer, and i wanted to know if i can switch between two
inputs ( one encoded h264 and the other one filesrc ) with the
input-selector element.
I did test it with an example with 2 videotestsrc and it works fine.
I read that maybe by dropping h264enc from the pipeline i could display the
video and then switch to the other one., but i still don’t get all of it.

Does input-selector can work with encoded video as well ? 
If yes, is it possible to start/stop any input dynamically during the
process ?
