I'm currently investigating the use of gstreamer to generate MPEG DASH
compatible media.  I've read about the mp4dashmux and dashsink components
for gstreamer and I have a few  questions.

 

1. Which version(s) of gstreamer are they compatible with?

2. Where is the latest source code available?

3. Will they be incorporated into a gstreamer release?

The latest source code is available here:

https://github.com/ylatuya/gst-plugins-bad/tree/dashsink

 

It depends on some patches for mp4dashmux that aren't upstream yet, but they
have been already reviewed so I'll push them this week.

The sink is working correctly but I think it still needs to have some minor
details fixed before it's merged upstream
