cheers!

Im running gstreamer on cygwin.
I tried to install gstreamer for linux via cygwin but I noticed that
gstreamer is build in inside linux.
so I tried this simple pipeline:

gst-launch-0.10 videotestsrc ! ffmpegcolorspace ! autovideosink

and I got this error ("Could not open display"):

Setting pipeline to PAUSED ...
ERROR: Pipeline doesn't want to pause.
ERROR: from element /GstXImageSink:autovideosink0-actual-sink-ximage: Could
not initialise X output
Additional debug info:
/usr/src/ports/gstreamer0.10-plugins-base/gstreamer0.10-plugins-base-0.10.36-2/src/gst-plugins-base-0.10.36/sys/ximage/ximagesink.c(1284):
gst_ximagesink_xcontext_get ():
/GstXImageSink:autovideosink0-actual-sink-ximage:
Could not open display
Setting pipeline to NULL ...
Freeing pipeline ...

by the way, I also tried to reinstall gstreamer but cygwin is not familiar
with "apt-get" command.

any ideas..?

Leon.
