Not able to put logs into gst-launch.c

Hi,

I was trying to put logs in gst-launch.c to get more insight into it's code
flow. Whatever prints I put into source file, i don't get those prints when
I execute this binary.

I grepped my logs in gst-launch binary but it returns nothing. I am sure I
am compiling the correct source file but these print statements are not
going into the executable.I tried putting logs with both "printf" and
"g_print" functions.

 Is gstreamer-0.10.34/tools/Makefile doing any magic? Please help.
