gst-plugins-good from git no longer builds on ubuntu 10.04 as of gd25a183, was that intended?

It's a two-part series since I noticed there was a completely
obsolete section in configure.ac nearby, and removed that
as the first step.

I have to support the last two LTS releases, I think.  So I care about
10.04 for a few more months.

(Incidentally, to work around the later problem building the
gdk_pixbuf plugin on 10.04,
gdk-pixbuf-core.h:260: error: expected '=', ',', ';', 'asm' or
'__attribute__' before 'gchar'
it seems to suffice to replace the deprecated G_CONST_RETURN with const in
/usr/include/gtk-2.0/gdk-pixbuf/gdk-pixbuf-core.h.  But that's another story.)
