Queries about End-of-Stream Event

Hi,
   (i) I have the following pipeline
 
   appsrc->parser->decoder->videoconvert->dfbvideosink

   In the above pipeline when I reach the End of the Stream I don't get
"EOS" event either in appsrc or 
   dfbvideosink when I probe their pads.Also I am not getting the
"GST_MESSAGE_EOS" in the Gst Bus also.

 (ii) Even I tried using the "end-of-stream" signal for the appsrc. Does
anybody have the idea how I can get the "EOS" event.
