Queries about libgstsouphttpsrc

Hi,
   (i) How to add the glib-networking support at run-time? I am using
gst-plugins-good-1.2.3 so is it necessary to add any CA's to the source code
of gstsouphttpsrc.c

   (ii) U have given something in this link :

        Does above patch becomes necessary in my case? I am getting the
error "TLS/SSL support not
