Why does decklinksrc need sync=FALSE on xvimagesink?

It clearly is a bug in decklinksrc, but I don't know what it is either
and I don't have the required hardware to test this myself.
Can one of you file a bug about that at http://bugzilla.gnome.org
against GStreamer, and also include the output of
> gst-launch-1.0 -v decklinksrc ! fakesink silent=false
(don't forget to set the relevant properties on decklinksrc)
