Information About Segment Event

I have a particular scenario in my mind I have two element links like:

videoappsrc->h264parser->avdec_h264->videoconvert->ximagesink
audioappsrc->aacparser->faad->audioconvert->alsasink

in a single gst pipeline.I am getting video and audio data along with pts
from the application thread I need to synchronize Audio and Video.So I need
to calculate the segment start and segment stop in the appsrc so that I can
match the buffer running time to the pipeline running time.
