gstreamer in Ubuntu 14.04 messy?

I really don't want to install gstreamer1.0-plugins-bad.
It seems it relies on opencv 2.4.8...

This is unacceptable to me.
1) How come gstreamer relies on OpenCV?
2) I've already upgraded OpenCV to 2.4.9, I really don't want to use the
default OpenCV from the repository. But, gstreamer seems not to be able to
provide me an option for that.



I really hate this. Just want to install my own gstreamer, but nothing from
the default  Ubuntu repository.
