Intel 01.org driver memory leak?

Running the same GStreamer application with

1. vaapisink (on Intel HD Graphics 4400) or

2. autovideosink (on NVidia Quadro FX 580)

I observed that that 1 eats up memory 16 GB in about 4 hours (and is
eventually is killed by the kernel), while 2 remains stable around 0.6% of
16GB all the time.

In 1 I am using the Intel's Graphics driver from 01.org for Ubuntu 14.04
LTS.

Is it a "correct" driver? May be I can use another driver in combination
with a more reliable sink?

I also tried

1b. autovideosink (on Intel HD Graphics 4400)

with the same effect: it starts to steadily eat memory: 2.7% in 8 minutes
