Distorted play bin on Ubuntu 14

Hello,

I am using Ubuntu 14 under vmware.
Gstreamer version is 1.2.4 (what you get when installing from apt-get without special pap).
webm file is : http://docs.gstreamer.com/media/sintel_trailer-480p.webm
Here is the distortion : there is a green line in diagonal, and all the image looks slewed.
