change video speed continuously

Hi Christian,

thanks for your reply. I've tried playing with the playbin flags, but
unfortunately disabling audio did not do anything for the cpu load.

I'm wondering: Does stepping put more load on the machine than just letting
the pipeline "roll" at a certain speed?
