rtsp buffering

Progress message don't post the percentage of buffering i guess right?

I was thinking buffer mode is supposed to accomplish this.
but in buffer mode, seeking does not work and it enters an infinite loop.
Does this mode make it a live source, hence seeking doesn't work?. Even in
this scenario, it should probably throw an error, instead of an infinite
loop?
If seeking is supposed to work in this mode, then that is a whole different
issue i guess..
