Create video from IP camera jpeg using omx

I would like to record h.264 video from mjpeg capable IP Cameras while
preserving processor usage to a minimun on a Raspberry Pi 2, but omxjpegdec
does not stop after an EOS and trashes the resulting file.

Has anyone tried to capture series of jpeg images instead and created a
h.264 video using omx?
