Cerbero : how to regenerate makefiles?

Hi,
I have been able to build gstreamer using cerbero.I also know how to make code changes and rebuild (cerbero shell + make install).
But I have not been able to find out how to regenerate the makefiles after changing a Makefile.am.I work around that by doing a "cerbero buildone <package>" but there must be a faster way...
