Is it possible to use libav directly through gst-libav ?

you can find a libav header files from gst-libav.
and of course, you can expose it to be used by your application.

I encounter problems with transcoding on GStreamer 1.4.5 pipelines
(reported as bug 749542).
(I note that I have only tested on Windows, so do not know if this is a
general problem or not.)
As an alternate solution, I am thinking of using libav directly through
gst-libav.
Does someone know of any documentation about using libav through gst-libav
?
