Is it possible to use libav directly through gst-libav ?

Thanks for the advice, but it is not easy doing this on Windows.
Ffmpeg (and GStreamer) are developed on Linux, where exist the environment and tools.
For Windows, documented build instructions are either outdated or require the installation of many additional tools.

I was hoping for some way of using the already-compiled gst-libav dll (=shared library).
