AW: Pipeline visualization tool

The first two diagrams are trivial, the third diagram is complex. If you want to model complex pipelines it is not going to work with a tool which produces the graphic output shown.
Take a look at the syntax of the dot files. Maybe you can simplify them or chop them into pieces before using dot.exe

Hi,

I’ve been trying to find the tool as used on the gstreamer docs, to visualize pipeline setups. For example see [1] and [2]. I want to use such diagrams in my thesis and I think it would be great if my diagrams would have the same looks as the ones on the official website.

I’ve tried searching the web, but I could only find a tool to create a more detailed diagram, see [3]. That tool is great, but for this goal it creates too detailed images to be used as mere visualizations.
The diagrams I want could probably be created using a generic tool, but as there are millions of tools and webapps for creating diagrams, I couldn’t find the correct one (or the correct settings).

If there is anyone who happens to know which tool is used or could even provide a pointer to it, I’m glad to hear.

Thanks for your time.

The first two don't look autogenerated. They look handcrafted. I'd guess they were done in some vector graphics authoring tool.
