Issue with alsasrc linein noise capture

I doubt the noise is due to alsamixer. While the pipeline is playing, I tried
all permutation combination of gains on the mixer. The noise did exist

The card is Intel's onboard linein - Intel PCH. This is what arecord -l
shows

Certainly can not be a hardware issue since its works like a charm on
Windows :/
