Thank you for replying Tim

Is there a site you can direct me to on how to use cerbero?

I had previously looked at http://docs.gstreamer.com/display/GstSDK/Building+from+source+using+Cerbero and when posting a question to this list I was told " It's a website unrelated to the GStreamer project and completely outdated, unmaintained and based on the old 0.10 release series of GStreamer." And directed to http://gstreamer.freedesktop.org. I have not located a similar page to the 1 I found on the .com site.

Those MSVC project files are completely out of date and won't work, sorry.

For now the only supported way of building Windows binaries is using the cerbero build tool:

 http://cgit.freedesktop.org/gstreamer/cerbero/
