segment_time

Hi,
I have the following partial pipeline
Appsrc -> videoconvert -> tee -> queue -> videorate ...
I have configured the appsrc to format = time.
Videorate needs a segment event with format GST_FORMAT_TIME but receives a segment with format GST_FORMAT_BYTES instead any suggestions how I can get around this problem.
I want to half the framerate in the branch following the tee but not in other branches.
