Sending DTMF signal

Hi,

I'm using gstreamer 1.0 on iOS and I have used this example  Tutorial for
iOS

in order to create a pipeline and to stream my voice. 

I'm trying to send a DTMF tone to the other side but multiplexed with my
streaming voice and not as rtp signal. Is there anyway to send e.g. audio
message in an existing pipeline?
