Gstreamer unit test framework

Hi,

I am a beginner with Gstreamer. I want to know about unit testing the
plugins. When do we use Gst-harness and when to use the gst-check framework.

Also, Can you suggest sample projects to build a plugin. How to decide
which CAPS, query and events to use.
