can't stream webcam logitech c310

hello,

after several attempts i can't figure out why the following pipeline doesnt
work 

gst-launch-1.0 -v v4l2src device=/dev/video0  ! video/x-raw, width=960,
height=720, framerate=30 ! x264enc ! rtph264pay ! udpsink host=192.168.1.10
port=5001

and results in the following error

WARNING: erroneous pipeline: could not link v4l2src0 to x264enc0

some help will be much appreciated, thanks in advance
