Is there a gstreamer 1.0 equivilent of the freeze element ?

I wanted to try something like

$ gst-launch-1.0 filesrc location=test1.jpg ! decodebin ! freeze ! glimagesink But there is no freeze element, is there an equivalent that works on gst-master?
